Wakarusa is located in heart of the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. THIS IS A VERY RURAL AND SECLUDED VENUE, with the closest Arkansas towns being 30 MINUTES AWAY (OR FARTHER) along windy, steep, and busy 2-lane highways.
Note - the closest towns are just that: towns. Not cities or metropolitan areas with 24-hour convenience shops or huge shopping centers.
Please arrive at the festival with everything that you need for the entire weekend. A great camping checklist is available on our online forum: Wakarusa-Camping-Checklist
