Big Metal Rooster
Formed in the fall of 2000, Big Metal Rooster continues to be a part of the Midwest jam scene in an enormous way. Cutting their chops in venues across the region has given the band a chance to shape and define their sound of deep entrancing rhythm, Latin inspired grooves, melodic expressions, layered harmonies, and innovative lyrics. Lawrence, Kansas’ own Big Metal Rooster consists of Derek Hein (bass), Billy Wassung (guitar), Matt Miner (drums), and Tom Fleming (guitar), with all four contributing vocals. |
